11. Sharing information with strangers
When traveling, you will often encounter friendly strangers who you may be tempted to share personal information with. No everyone is who they say they are – avoid sharing information like your hotel room or duration of visit. Should someone ask you for this information and you do not want to seem rude give them a vague location. Several scams target tourist and differentiating genuine people from fakes can be tricky.
